(Chuck Muth) – Nevada Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar (D) has proudly and boldly declared…
“There is no evidence of widespread voter fraud in our state, now or ever. Voters should have absolute confidence in the entire election process.”
Yeah, right. Two things…
One, voter fraud need not be “widespread” to change an election result. There are multiple examples of races ending in a tie or being decided by one vote.
And as former U.S Attorney Jennifer Williams once wrote, “If even one vote has been illegally cast or if the integrity of just one election official is compromised, it diminishes faith in the process.”
Or as Cleta Mitchell of the Election Integrity Network put it, “Every illegal vote cancels a legal, citizen’s vote – so that even one such vote is a problem for democracy.”
Secondly, your keys don’t just find themselves. And it’s pretty darned hard to find voter fraud when you refuse to look for it or investigate it.
Unlike Secretary Aguilar, we at the Pigpen Project did.
It all started in March 2024 when – using research of official government records – we identified an individual who appeared to have “double voted” in Texas and Nevada in the 2022 general election.
We then filed an official Election Integrity Violation Report (EIVR) with the Secretary of State. It investigated. And lo and behold, the voter ended up admitting to having unlawfully voted twice.
The Secretary of State referred the investigation to Attorney General Aaron Ford (D) – who, for unknown reasons, chose not to prosecute.
Onward…
Last July – BEFORE the 90-day “blackout period” – we submitted thousands of challenges to voters who filed a change-of-address with the post office. (Yes, our voter files ARE that dirty!)
But Secretary Aguilar rejected all of them, arguing they were based on data research and not on “personal knowledge.”
Then the 2024 general election came and went.
This past March we then filed 881 EIVR’s based on the fact that the voters in question had filed a change-of-address with the post office before the election but nevertheless were recorded as casting a mail-in ballot.
Aguilar refused to investigate; again claiming we lacked “personal knowledge” that the voter had moved – even though no such requirement exists for EIVRs in statute or code and his office investigated the March 2024 voter fraud complaint which was based on the exact same type of research.
This flies in the face of what Aguilar himself has said about fraud complaints…
“It is our commitment to the law and to the people of this state that every (Election Integrity Violation) report is carefully reviewed so that if there is even a single case of potential fraud identified, we conduct an investigation and, if necessary, refer it for criminal prosecution.”
Talk about speaking with a forked tongue out of both sides of your mouth!
Anyway, a couple weeks ago the Pigpen Project mailed – at our expense, thanks to the generosity of Pigpen Project donors – a letter to those 881 voters advising that someone may have unlawfully cast their mail-in ballot for them.
And we included a “hot line” number for them to call to clear up any doubts.
Some have since contacted us and confirmed their change-of-address was inadvertently filed as a “permanent” change, not a “temporary” one, and, thus, they did vote and voted legally.
Great. However, had Aguilar not blocked our “list maintenance” efforts with the local county clerks and registrars, those errors would have been caught and fixed BEFORE the election.
They weren’t because Aguilar isn’t doing his job and refused to work with groups such as ours who have been willing to do his job for him.
But here’s the kicker…
We also have now spoken with two individuals who maintain they did NOT cast a mail-in ballot in the November 2024 general election in Nevada.
Two that Aguilar had refused to investigate!
Who knows how many more would be discovered if inquiries and investigations came from the Secretary of State’s office rather than an outside, unofficial non-governmental organization.
Here’s the bottom line: The Pigpen Project tried to clean these files from the voter rolls before the “blackout period” in early 2024. Aguilar blocked us.
The Pigpen Project tried to challenge those voters before Election Day. Aguilar blocked us.
The Pigpen Project tried to file election fraud reports after the election. Aguilar refused to investigate.
So the truth is, voting fraud IS happening in Nevada right under Aguilar’s nose – and he’s just ignoring it.
Worse, he continues to tell the whopper that our elections are safe and secure. They simply aren’t.
Do two fraudulent votes constitute “widespread”? No.
But where there’s smoke, there’s fire. And Aguilar refuses to look for it. Instead, he’s standing in front of the TV cameras declaring, “Please disburse; nothing to see here.”
Has there been enough voting fraud that could have tilted an election in a different direction? We don’t know. Because Aguilar refuses to do his job.
Everything the Pigpen Project has done to identify “moved” voters and have them removed from the “Active” voter file can and SHOULD be done by Nevada election officials.
It’s THEIR job. They have the authority.
But if they can’t/won’t do it, the least they could do is work with us to help them out.
And until they do, there’s no reason on God’s green earth that ANYONE “should have absolute confidence in the entire election process.”
